This useful tool exists because when you create a student group, such as Student by Year Level, it does not automatically include caregivers.
To derive a group:
- Click on ‘Users & Groups’
- Find the group that you wish to use to create the related group and click on ‘Edit Group’
- Select ‘Derive Caregiver Group’. The related group will appear in the ‘Groups’ list
